Experienced hypnotherapist, Sharon Waxkirsh assists people in removing limiting beliefs, resolving issues and disposing of counterproductive behavioural patterns. Sharon gains a unique rapport encouraging people in discovering their own full potential. Her work encompasses relieving anxieties and transforming low self-esteem, as well as working with conditions such as eczema, hay fever, irritable bowel syndrome, surgery, fear of needles and dental phobia.
As well as working with adults, Sharon, specialises in children's hypnotherapy. She holds workshops for children in working through exam and interview fears as well as individual sessions dealing with hospital nerves, needle phobia and psychosomatic medical conditions.
Other workshops include Self Hypnosis Courses and Hypnosis for Childbirth, Smoking Cessation and Weight Control. She is also training as an assistant for the Hypnotherapy Training Institute programs.
She is the supervisor for the hypnotherapy unit for Gastrointestinal disorders at St.Marks hospital, features on the Birthwise DVD, hypnosis for childbirth, and has appeared on a variety of radio shows including Vanessa Feltz BBC London Radio
